VectorFLOW—Product and communication design

At Vector Consulting Group, I was integral to the design and development of VectorFLOW, a sophisticated inventory management tool designed for enterprises with revenues exceeding $120 million. VectorFLOW enables distribution stakeholders to gain real-time visibility into inventory at every level, ensuring optimal ordering and avoiding both shortages and excess stock.

Design Process
The design process was a collaborative and iterative effort, driven by a deep understanding of user environments and business needs:

User Research: We partnered closely with consultants to gain a nuanced understanding of the user environments across different industries. This helped us identify key challenges and tailor solutions to meet the specific requirements of various operational contexts.
Contextual Adaptation: The app required nuanced tweaks for different environments, ensuring functionality and usability remained seamless regardless of the industry or operational scale.
UI/UX Design: I collaborated with UI designers and UX writers to craft a clean, intuitive interface that prioritized clarity and functionality. The designs balanced complex workflows with simple navigation to empower users across roles and expertise levels.
Testing and Iteration: Designs were tested in real-world scenarios, and feedback from stakeholders was integrated to refine the product and address emerging needs effectively.
